Attermire Cottage is an old thick-walled stone cottage, tucked away up a quaint cobbled street just off the Market Place in Settle. It is warm and cosy with full gas central heating.

Downstairs is a cosy sitting room, with a gas fire, and a well equipped recently re-fitted kitchen area . A feature staircase leads up to the bedrooms.

There are two bedrooms which together sleep 3.
The double bedroom features an exposed beam, from the original structure. This bedroom has a view down the cobbles towards the Market Place.
The single bedroom has a door-sized window with a view up to Castleberg Rock, the crag that overlooks the town.

The modern bathroom has a bath with electric shower, washbasin, shaver point, toilet, expelair fan and ladder towel warmer.

All fuel, linen and plenty of towels are included in the rent. Cleaning is carried out personally by the owners, who live nearby, ensuring a truly exceptional level of cleanliness, often remarked upon by guests.

The cottage has a garage, with an old flag stone floor, that will accommodate a family car.

Our facilities are consistently 4 star quality (but the cottage is awarded 3 stars because we have no room for a washing machine).

Walks into the surrounding Dales and up to Castleberg Rock, for views over the town, are right outside the door.
Malham, Arncliffe, Grassington and many other popular Dales villages are just a short drive from the cottage, using only country lanes.
Pubs and restaurants of a high standard are just down the cobbles, and Settle railway station, for the famous Settle-Carlisle scenic line, is about 400 yards away. If you arrive by train, pick up from the station, for you and your luggage can be provided.
